The new Speedmatic^® Economy easel makes printing more cost efficient by using roll paper instead of more expensive single sheets for photographic printing. It is designed for the photo lab using table top continuous paper processors. The electronically controlled paper advance is easily operated with one simple push button and is calibrated in 1/10" (2.5 mm) increments.

The Speedmatic^® Economy easel is very suitable for proofing or enlargements alike. Masks must be ordered separately to match your specific requirements. Special size masks are available upon request. Timer/Counter (Cat.# 7023, pictured on the right) and Remote Footswitch (Cat.# 7022) are available as options to control exposures and to advance paper after each exposure.

The Speedmatic^® EE-Series easels are ruggedly built for long lasting service. Three models are available to accept roll paper or transparency materials up to 11" (28 cm), 20" (51 cm), and 30" (76 cm) width. The 11" (28 cm) model accepts 275' (84 m) rolls and can be modified for 575' (175 m) rolls on the feed side. Paper advances quickly and positively from 2" (5 cm) to the maximum capacity in ½" (1.3 cm) increments. Advance accuracy is 1/32" (0.8 mm) on color or single weight paper.

Interchangeable masks register perfectly and make prints from billfold size to the full capacity of the easel. Standard masks are available with 3/16" (4.8 mm) borders or full border-less masks.

X-Y Composing Mobile Base:
The fast and effortless way to move easel for composing and cropping. At the touch of your finger, electromagnetic lock releases, and the entire easel glides on an X-Y axis, track mounted on ball bearings.

Roll-Around Stand:
Allows easy movement of the easel with X-Y Composing Mobile Base.

Models:
15¼" (39 cm) High (Cat.# 7006) fits all mobile base models for normal working height
8 3/8" (21 cm) High (Cat.# 7007) fits all mobile base models for low level easel heights.

Standard Masks:
for conventional print sizes. Available in "trap door" and open configuration, borderless or with 3/16" (4.8 mm) borders.

Custom Masks:
available on request. Must be accompanied by detailed sketch.

Four-Blade Mask:
with dark slide for composing.

Timer/Counter (Cat.# 7001):
Accurately controls exposures and automatically advances paper after each exposure. The three decade backlit timer is accurate to within 1/20 of a microsecond over the full range of 0.1 to 99.9 seconds. Counter records the number of exposures and can be programmed to automate the easel to make up to 999 repeat prints of the same negatives. Advance can also be operated manually for custom burning and dodging.

Multi-Mask System MM-11 (Cat.# 8160) for EE-11:
makes the following sizes: 2 - 5"×7" (13cm×18cm), 2 - 4"×5" (10cm×13cm), 4 - 2½"×3½" (6cm×9cm).

Punch Marker (Cat.# 7005):
with vacuum removal of the paper pellet; requires modified paper masks.
